February, 2006: Carolyn Crane turns the microphone on staff from the Sierra Avalanche Center in Truckee & the Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center in Mammoth, then takes a field trip into the wintery Sagehen Basin to learn about snow crystals, snowpits, beacons & probes.
