How do you increase forest restoration pace and scale?

In order to save our precious western US forests, we need to remove 100 years of accumulated fuels to reduce destructive wildfire and allow natural, healthy, low intensity fire to return.

Old style forestry got us into the problem. How do we find our way out in time to make a difference?

The Sagehen Forest Project knows how! Listen to a discussion from a 2015 presentation to Congressional Staffers at Sagehen. Speakers include:

- Eli Ilano, Tahoe Forest Supervisor
- Scott Conway, Forest Service Vegetation Specialist
- Malcolm North, PSW Researcher
- Joanne Roubique, Tahoe District Ranger
